ChTPZ releases January 2009 operational results

One of the largest Russian pipe producers, ChTPZ Group, consisting of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works, has announced its operational results for the first month of 2009.

Accordingly, during the period in question, the group decreased its pipe shipments by 39 percent year on year to 66,300 metric tons.

In January 2009, Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) pipe deliveries amounted to 38,400 mt, including 25,800 mt of large diameter pipes.

On the other hand, Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works' January 2009 pipe shipments amounted to 27,900 mt.
