Chongqing Steel posts increased crude steel output for August

According to Chongqing-based Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Steel Group, in August this year it produced 524,800 mt of crude steel, up 15.67 percent compared to July and rising by 72.7 percent year on year.
 
During the first eight months of the current year, Chongqing Steel produced 3.74 million mt of crude steel in total, an increase of 57.67 percent year on year.
