China’s crude steel output totals 822.70 million mt in 2014

In December last year, China’s pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 56.86 million mt, 68.09 million mt and 98.22 million mt, up 3.7 percent, 1.5 percent and 6.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on January 20.
 
Meanwhile, in the full year of 2014, China’s pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs totaled 711.60 million mt, 822.70 million mt and 1.12557 billion mt, respectively.
