China’s auto sales up 3.33 percent in January-August

According to the data issued by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in August this year domestic automobile sales and production respectively reached 1.38 million units and 1.39 million units, up 8.29 percent and 6.66 percent from the previous month and up 4.15 percent and 8.72 percent year on year.
 
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of the current year, the sales and production volumes of automobiles in China came to 11.98 million units and 11.86 million units respectively, rising by 3.33 percent and 3.04 percent compared to the same period of 2010
