Chilean mining and steelmaking group CAP has announced two new executives, according to recent document filings.

The group said this week Claudia Bobadilla Ferrer will take over as Cintac’s executive director, replacing former director Eduardo Frei Bolivar. Cintac is a subsidiary of the CAP Group. It produces, sells and distributes several steel products, including tubes, steel plates, sections, among others, and operates four processing plants with a combined capacity of 355,000 mt in Chile and Peru.

Additionally, the CAP Group announced late last week it has appointed Jorge Salvatierra Pacheco as the group’s director.  Bolivar was replaced as both Cintac’s and CAP Group’s director, after resigning from the two roles.
