Canada initiates expiry review for carbon steel welded pipe imports from six countries

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced that it has initiated an expiry review regarding the antidumping (AD) order on imports of certain carbon steel welded pipe originating in or exported from Taiwan, India, Oman, South Korea, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain carbon steel welded pipe originating in or exported from India to determine whether the expiry of the duties is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and/or subsidizing of the subject goods.

The CBSA will conclude its review by May 7, 2018.

The goods in question are classified under Harmonized System (HS) tariff classification numbers 7306.30.00.10, 7306.30.00.20 and 7306.30.00.30.
