Canada also blocks steel grating imports from China, after US

China's Ministry of Commerce has stated that, after half a year of investigation, the Canadian Border Services Agency decided to impose up to 85 percent antidumping and antisubsidy taxes on steel grating imports from China. Last year, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed 200 percent antidumping and antisubsidy duties on imports of the same products from China.

After the US started its AD and CVD investigation, Chinese steel grating exports to the US dropped from $90.70 million to $15.3 million in value.

Chinese steel grating exports to North America have thus been blocked and analysts have suggested that exporters should explore new markets.
