In January this year, the output and sales volumes of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 2.072 million units and 2.218 million units, down 21.6 percent and 17 percent month on month, while decreasing by 4.2 percent and 1.1 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
As for commercial vehicles, domestic output and sales volumes in January amounted to 297,000 units and 301,000 units, down 29.07 percent and 21.84 percent month on month, while decreasing by 1.6 percent and increasing by 11.3 percent year on year, respectively.
