Brazil's crude steel output down almost 5 percent year-on-year in November

Crude steel output in Brazil fell by 4.80 percent year-on-year in November, according to figures from Aco Brasil, the country's steel institute. Production was approximately 2.43 million mt compared to 2.55 million mt in November 2015.
 
Compared to the previous month, the 2.43 million mt reflects a decline of 10.7 percent from the 2.72 million mt produced in October.
 
The Jan-Nov 2016 crude steel production in Brazil is estimated at 28.1 million mt compared to 30.8 million mt in the same period in 2015.  This reflects a reduction of 8.8 percent for the 11 month period.
