Baosteel begins annual overhauling

It is reported that, on October 17 and 18, overhauling work was carried out on the No. 5 continuous casting machine and the 1580 hot rolling mill at the Baosteel No. 2 Steel Making Plant. This indicates the beginning of annual overhauling work during the second half of the year. The planned overhauling includes the cold and hot rolling mills and the continuous casting machines starting from October 17 to November 9. It also includes overhauling at the medium plate plant, steel making plant and steel pipe plant from November 17 to December 11.
