Baogang’s crude steel output up 0.69 percent in 2014

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) has announced that in 2014 its outputs of pig iron and crude steel amounted to 10.0033 million mt and 10.2721 million mt, up 3.82 percent and 0.69 percent year on year, respectively, both constituting record historical highs. Meanwhile, its output of finished steel in the given year totaled 9.6148 million mt, down 1.21 percent year on year.
