Baogang delivers J55 OCTG products to Shanxi Yanchang Petroleum

According to Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group), its 159 mm seamless steel pipe line has successfully produced J55 oil country tubular goods (OCTG), with the first shipment of 1,120 mt of these products recently being completed to Shanxi Province-based Chinese oil and gas exploration company Shanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co.
 
Baogang stated that its 159 mm seamless steel pipe line, which was put into production in September this year, now produces a full range of steel tubes for the oil industry. The production line has an annual output capacity of 400,000 mt and is able to produce steel pipes of 38-168.3 mm diameter and 2.9-25 mm thickness.
