Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has decided to terminate its antidumping (AD) duty investigation against rebar imports from Malaysia, Thailand and Turkey.

The commission has found that the goods imported from Malaysia-based Ann Joo Steel, Thailand-based Millcon and Turkish steelmaker Habas were not dumped and in some cases the volume of dumped goods from the countries in question were found to be negligible.

In October 2014 Australia initiated an antidumping duty investigation against rebar imports from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.

The products subject to antidumping duty investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214.20.00, 7228.30.90, 7213.10.00 and 7227.90.90.
