Argentina’s industrial and civil construction activities recover in March

According to INDEC, Argentina’s statistics institute, industrial production in the country increased by 3.1 percent in March, while civil construction activities increased by 1.2 percent, both compared to the same month in 2022.

According to INDEC, both sectors recovered in March from February, with industrial production increasing by 3.4 percent in from February, while the civil construction sector increased by 3.5 percent under the same comparative basis.

During the first three months of 2023, industrial production in Argentina increased on yearly basis by 2.6 percent, while the civil construction sector declined by 0.8 percent.

One of the highlights of the industrial sector in March was the crude steel production, reaching 424,300 mt, against 359,400 mt in February.
