The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Argentina has been excluded from the definitive safeguard measures the European Commission announced on February 1.

This exemption allows Argentina to continue exporting steel products to the EU market where Argentina’s steel exports amounted to a value of €188 million in the 2012-2017 period. The main products exported by Argentina are steel sheets and strips, coated sheet and seamless steel tubes.
