ArcelorMittal to supply low-carbon steel for roof systems

Luxembourg-based steelmaker ArcelorMittal has announced that it will supply low-carbon steel to Polish BP2, the manufacturer of solutions for residential construction, to be used for the latter’s SOLROOF integrated photovoltaic roof.

The components of the SOLROOF system will be manufactured solely using XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, which is produced using a minimum of 75 percent scrap steel and 100 percent renewable electricity.
