ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih's finished steel output up 1.2% in 2013

In 2013, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 6.4301 million mt, up 0.17 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the given year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih saw a 1.24 percent increase year on year in its finished steel output to 5.6614 million mt, while its pig iron production decreased by 0.06 percent year on year to 5.6061 million mt.

In December last year, crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 2.52 percent to 564,400 mt, output of finished steel increased by 3.7 percent to 501,000 mt, while production of pig iron moved up by 2.16 percent to 496,900 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
