Anglo American ups revenues by 34 percent, net profit by 170 percent in 2010

On February 18, UK-based mining giant Anglo American issued its interim financial results for 2010.

According to the financial results, sales revenues including associates increased 34 percent in 2010 to $32.93 billion compared to 2009. EBITDA was $11.98 billion, up 73 percent year on year. 

Net income of $6.54 billion attributable to shareholders in 2010 was 170 percent higher than the 2009 result.
