Alliance Tubular to lay off employees in Ohio

Alliance Tubular Products, a subsidiary of PTC Alliance Corp, has announced the layoff of 90-95 employees at its Ohio plant due to a decline in customer demand. The site produces drawn-over mandrel tubing (DOM) and electrical resistance welded tubing (ERW).

PTC Alliance consists of eight facilities and is a leader in the steel tubing industry according to its website. PTC Alliance employs approximately 2,100 workers companywide with over 200 at the Alliance, Ohio facility.
