AD review on certain pipes from Japan rescinded

On July 15, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for certain large diameter carbon and alloy seamless standard, line, and pressure pipe imported from Japan for the period June 1, 2004, through May 31, 2005. The review was initiated upon the request of United States Steel Corporation, a domestic producer of subject merchandise. Since the producer withdrew its request within 90 days of the initiation of the administrative review, the DOC saw no reason to proceed with the review with respect to Japan.
