SteelOrbis has learned that the average spot market price for US domestic A53 Grade A standard pipe has decreased in the last week, as sources say the price spread between pipe and flats is still far too wide.

New offers are now being heard at approximately $80-$81 cwt. ($1,764-$1,786/mt or $1,600-$1,620/nt) FOB mill, compared to $86 cwt. ($1,896/mt or $1,720/nt), FOB mill, last week.
