Purchases of seamless pipes by Turkish customers have still not picked up. Nevertheless, some foreign suppliers have tried to increase their seamless pipe offers. Over the past month, offers of Chinese seamless pipes to Turkey have increased by $20-30/mt. Russian and Ukrainian suppliers have left  their offers almost unchanged over the same period. Import quotations of Romanian material have increased by $45-50/mt over the past month amid higher production and transportation costs and currency fluctuations. However, Turkish buyers show little interest in purchasing seamless pipes from Europe, preferring instead to buy from the CIS. Market participants do not expect to see any significant changes in the coming month, and seamless pipe prices will likely stay stable.

Chinese suppliers are offering seamless pipes of 2"-10" grade B made to ASTM to the Turkish market in the price range of $950-1,000/mt CFR.

May production pipes from Ukrainian producer Interpipe with diameter of 50-323 mm as per GOST or ASTM are being offered to the Turkish market at about $1,125-1,160/mt CFR.
Quotations of Russian seamless pipes from Volzhsky PP (TMK Group) with diameter up to 219.1 mm made to GOST or ASTM are being given to the Turkish market at about $1,060-1,085/mt CFR for May production. Russian producer ChTPZ is offering May-June production seamless pipes with diameter up to 219 mm made to GOST or ASTM at about $1,020-1,050/mt CFR.

Import offers of seamless pipes from Romania (ArcelorMittal), 14"-16" of grade B made to ASTM, are being given to the Turkish market at $1,470-1,580/mt CPT, while 3"-10" pipes are quoted at around $1,400-1,415/mt CPT.

6"-10" seamless pipes from Italian producer Tenaris Dalmine are quoted to Turkish customers at $1,790-1,950/mt CPT, while 16" pipes are at around $1,980-2,000/mt CPT.
