Chinese domestic seamless pipe prices have either moved sideways or risen by a small margin in the past seven days, with increases in billet prices supporting price rises in some regional markets. Overall trading activity has been weak due to the off-season and some parts of the country have been impacted by the spread of the coronavirus. As for the week ahead, considering the weakness of the downstream side, it is believed that domestic seamless pipe prices may edge down slightly.
