Chinese domestic seamless pipe prices have moved down during the past seven days amid decreases in prices of billet and other raw materials. Overall trading activity has slackened and is considered to be weak, against the backdrop of the offseason and the weather getting colder. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may continue their soft trend.
Chinese domestic welded pipe prices have moved down slightly during the past week given the declines seen in prices of steel strip and other raw materials. Overall trading activity is at normal levels. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may indicate a downward trend as the offseason exerts a negative impact on demand.
