Import pipe offers to UAE

According to market sources, South Korean offers to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for 8"-10" ERW pipes of grade B are at $450/mt CFR, while South African offers to the same country for 2"-6" seamless pipes of grade B are at $635/mt CFR. Meanwhile, Japanese offers to the UAE for 2"-10" seamless pipes of B grade are at $1,250/mt CFR. Also, Chinese offers to the same destination for 4"-10" seamless pipes of B grade are in the range of $390-400/mt CFR. Chinese offers to the UAE for 2", 2.5" and 3" of grade B can exceed the $390-400/mt range by up to around $30/mt. In addition, it has been reported that, after returning to the market following the holiday, Chinese seamless pipe suppliers have tried to increase their offers by around $5-10/mt to test the market. In the meantime, Ukrainian offers to the UAE for 2"-20" seamless pipes of grade B are in the range of $700-750/mt CFR.
