Market sources state that last week a Turkish steelmaker concluded an ex-UK deal for nearly 25,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $275/mt CFR, for February shipments. The deal price was $15-20/mt lower than the most commonly reported import scrap transaction prices in the Turkish market last week.
