Scrap import offers to Bangladesh stable, facing low demand

On March 13, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap import offer prices from the UK and EU to Bangladesh at $347-352/mt CFR.

Sources close to SteelOrbis report that shredded scrap offers have remained stable, while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers are reportedly at $335-340/mt CFR. A source noted that the scrap import market for both grades is currently quiet.
