Import scrap offers to Bangladesh trend up

On September 14, SteelOrbis reported containerized shredded scrap offers to Bangladesh from the UK and EU increasing to $365-370/mt CFR while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 was reportedly around $340-345/mt CFR.

According to information received from sources close to SteelOrbis, scrap offer prices from the UK and EU have firmed up and are now reportedly at $368-375/mt CFR. HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers have also reportedly moved in tandem and are now reportedly at $345-350/mt CFR. Containerized shredded scrap increased by $3/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $5/mt from the top of the same range while containerized HMS I/II 80:20 increased $5/mt.
