Scrap import offers to Bangladesh trend up

On January 30, SteelOrbis reported that offer prices from the UK and EU reportedly increased to $340-348/mt CFR for shredded containers and $325-333/mt CFR for containerized HMS I/II 80:20.

Market sources inform SteelOrbis that scrap prices to Bangladesh from the UK and EU for containerized shredded scrap are presently at $350-355/mt CFR and at $340-345/mt CFR for containerized HMS I/II 80:20. Shredded scrap increased by $10/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $7/mt from the top of the same range. HMS I/II 80:20 increased by $15/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $12/mt from the bottom of the same range.
