On July 17, SteelOrbis reported Chinese import met coke (64-65 percent CSR) offers to India down at $360/mt CFR India or approximately $342-345/mt FOB China.
Sources close to the market inform SteelOrbis that coke prices have continued the downtrend and are presently at $350-353/mt CFR India or approximately $332-335/mt FOB China. The decline in offer prices by $7-10/mt in CFR terms over the week is attributed to the decline in global coking coal prices and soft demand from Indian buyers.
