On June 19, SteelOrbis reported Chinese import met coke (64-65 percent CSR) offers to India up at $380/mt CFR due to tighter environmental controls in China limiting production as well as increased steel production in India and other Asian countries.
Sources inform SteelOrbis that offers have since increased by $10/mt to $390/mt CFR, following a continuous price uptrend since late April. In FOB China terms, prices are now reportedly at $375/mt.
