Indian state-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has floated a global tender seeking suppliers for 60,000 mt of blast furnace grade (low ash metallurgical) coke, company sources said on Wednesday, September 20.

The last date for submission of bids has been set for October 10, the sources said.

In order to be eligible, the notice inviting tenders lays down that suppliers have to be established BF grade coke producers owing cokeries or suppliers backed by letters of authority from cokery operators.

The supplier will need to complete delivery in two lots of 30,000 mt each.
