Indian government-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has floated a tender seeking global suppliers for 375,000 mt of pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal, company sources said on Tuesday, June 20.

The last date for submission of bids has been set for July 10, the sources said.

Eligible bidders will include PCI coal producers owning, managing or controlling mines or overseas PCI coal suppliers having letters of authority from overseas coal producers.

The sources said that blended coal would also be acceptable as long it complied with the technical parameters laid down in the tender document.

Suppliers would need to bid for a minimum volume of 75,000 mt, the sources said.
