Indian government-run NMDC Limited has hiked prices of all grade of iron ore for May deliveries with immediate effect, for the first time in four months, company sources said on Thursday, May 1.
The company hiked price of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe content 67 percent and above) by INR 140/mt ($1.65/mt) at INR 7,210/mt ($85.21) and iron ore fines (less than 10 mm, Fe content 64 percent and below) increased by INR 440/mt ($5.20/mt) at INR 5,500/mt ($65/mt).
All prices are inclusive of mandatory levies like District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust (DMET) cess and forest permit fees.
