Sources inform SteelOrbis that basic steelmaking iron export offers in India have decreased since late September when prices reached $380/mt FOB India. According to sources, Indian export basic pig iron offers had increased in early September and peaked around the middle of the month on the back of strong domestic pig iron prices. However, since then Indian export offer prices have reportedly declined to current offers of $340/mt FOB Indian port due to low exports and declining domestic prices.
