Over the past two weeks, Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their prices unchanged in the local currency, though they have fallen by $3-4/mt on US dollar basis amid the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 25,550/mt ($625/mt) ex-works today, August 19, stable on lira basis with a decrease of $4/mt in US dollars, over the same period.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in September or from stocks, depending on the size.
