Today, April 7, Turkish mill Kardemir has issued new merchant bar prices, with an increase of $ 15-25/mt depending on the grade and size, against the backdrop of higher production costs, in particular higher prices of energy and import scrap, as compared to its previous price list issued on Wednesday, January 21. Sources report that the producer has succeeded in selling around 46,000 mt of merchant bar so far.
