Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their official domestic merchant bar prices unchanged on Turkish lira basis, while their prices are down by $2-3/mt in US dollars against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. Additional discounts are applicable for cash payments. One Iskenderun-based mill issued its equal angle price at TRY 29,000/mt ($624/mt) ex-works today, June 23, also stable on lira basis, but down by $2/mt on dollar basis, over the same period.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late July or from stocks, depending on the size.
