Local Turkish rebar spot prices decrease in Izmir and Karabuk regions

Today, November 19, rebar spot prices in Turkey’s Izmir and Karabuk regions have decreased due to sluggish demand. However, rebar prices in the Iskenderun and Marmara regions have remained unchanged due to limited rebar availability.

Today, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,492/mt ($436/mt) ex-works prices, while Izmir Demir Celik has also kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at 2,458/mt ($429 mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT. Meanwhile, market sources report that Turkish rebar mills are offering discounts of TRY 20-40/mt (including VAT) for serious buyers.
