Spot rebar prices in Turkey have decreased today, July 1, amid the improved political stability following the rerun local election in Istanbul, the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar, and also due to the aim of some Turkish traders to convert stocks into cash.
Today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,712/mt ($480/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 20/mt to TRY 2,710/mt ($480/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
