Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have increased their official equal angle export prices by $10/mt on the lower end to $600-610/mt FOB amid the costlier import billet prices, for August shipment. A few merchant bar producers are still applying an aggressive pricing policy in order to generate sales and are offering close to the lower end of the abovementioned price range.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $455-490/mt, also rising by $10/mt on the lower end week on week.
