During the given week, steel plate supplies in the Chinese domestic spot market have been on the short side, providing a certain degree of support for prices. At the same time, inventory levels of steel plate are lower than in the previous week. However, the rising trend of steel plate prices is unlikely to continue as demand remains slack. Approaching the end of the year, traders are experiencing tight liquidity, which will exert some negative pressure on steel plate prices. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
