SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of stainless steel hot rolled coils of 3-5 mm thickness is being quoted in the local Taiwanese market at NTD 60,000-70,000/mt ($1,806-2,107/mt) ex-warehouse, including five percent VAT, for early to middle of May shipments. The prices indicate an increase of NTD 4,000/mt ($120/mt) as compared to last week.
Meanwhile, stainless steel cold rolled coils of 0.8-1.5 mm thickness are being offered in the local Taiwanese market at NTD 63,000-72,000/mt ($1,898-2,169/mt) ex-warehouse, including five percent VAT, for early to middle of May shipments. The prices have increased by NTD 3,000/mt ($90/mt) as compared to the previous week.
