SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of stainless steel hot rolled coils of 3-5 mm thickness is being quoted in the local Taiwanese market at NTD 77,000-80,000/mt ($2,337-2,428/mt) ex-warehouse. The prices indicate an increase of NTD 6,000/mt ($182/mt) as compared to last week.
Meanwhile, stainless steel cold rolled coils of 0.8-1.5 mm thickness are being offered in the local Taiwanese market at NTD 79,000-82,000/mt ($2,398-2,489/mt) ex-warehouse. The prices have increased by NTD 6,000/mt ($182/mt) as compared to the previous week.
The above prices, which include five percent VAT, are for early July shipments.
