The base price for the negotiations for the export from Brazil of HRC of the basic commercial grades is still $430/mt, FOB conditions, the same as last week, a major exporter told SteelOrbis.

The price had peaked at $500/mt FOB in May, moving down to reach $420/mt FOB two weeks ago, stable now for the second week.

In June, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported HRC at $348/mt, CSN at $449/mt, Usiminas at $568/mt and by Gerdau Acominas at $290/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in April.
