The Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients in a reference price of $740/mt, against $750/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.
In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 4,400/mt ($807/mt), full taxes except IPI, stable over the last four weeks.
In September, Brazil exported 26,800 mt and imported 75,400 mt of HRC, against respectively 12,500 mt and 75,000 mt in August.
Th exports were destined to Turkey (22,700 mt at $499/mt) and South America (4,100 mt at $590/mt).
Imports were from South Korea (45,600 mt at $539/mt), Egypt (27,700 mt at $558/mt) and China (2,100 mt at $591/mt), FOB conditions.
