Price of Brazilian HRC increases for export

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $625/mt, FOB conditions, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The price compares with $610/mt over the last two weeks, the source said, adding that he expects prices to stabilize over the next few weeks.

According to the country’s customs authorities, HRC exports from Brazil in September are expected to show a small increase from August, when the volume exported reached 153,700 mt.
