SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that prices of August rolling import hot rolled coil (HRC) in the Omani market have remained stable since last week, with ex-Ukrainian offers still at $540-545/mt CFR, while Russian HRC offers are at $550-555/mt CFR, both for advance payments and excluding VAT.
HRC demand in Oman has remained on the weak side with the impact of Ramadan, though prices are expected to increase by as much as $20/mt after Ramadan.
