SteelOrbis has been informed that Russian hot rolled coil (HRC) import offers to the Omani market have remained stable since last week at $630-635/mt CFR, while demand is moderate. The offers, which exclude VAT, are for advance payment and for April-May production.
Market sources indicate that there is a strong competition going on in the Omani pipe market. So, Ukrainian and Russian HRC offers are expected to soften in the coming period.
