Import HRC prices soften in Oman, buyers still purchasing in line with needs

Import hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in Oman have softened by $5/mt on the high end since last week. Accordingly, Russian and Ukrainian July production HRC offers to the country are now standing at $560-565/mt CFR and $540/mt CFR respectively for advance payment and exclusive of VAT. Meanwhile, local buyers have continued to conclude deals just in line with their needs, while expecting a further decline in the above offer levels.
